     1   Marantz PMD930 Global DVD Player (plays all regions)
     1   JVC SR-VS30 Mini DV/ VHS Deck
     1   Pioneer Cassette Deck
     1   Denon AVR-1604/684 Amplifier
     1   Christie 38-VIV207-01Projector

In order to use the system, check out the SV 258 key to the equipment rack at the Media Center (Sverdrup, SV128) and any remote controls needed, VHS or DVD. You will be asked to leave you university ID when checking the key and remote controls out; upon return you will get it back.

Please do not turn on or off any device (DVD, VHS) with their individual power switch, if done this will defeat the main power switch.

Powering up the system

1. Unlock equipment rack

2. At the very bottom turn on the main power switch, a red light will come on all of the decks will power up.

3. On the audio amplifier (Denon) select what you are showing with the far left knob. In the amplifier window will appear DVP or VCR.

4. Insert DVD or VHS tape into the deck.

5. Pull the screen down

6. Push play on the device you are using or remote control.

7. Adjust the audio level on the amplifier (Denon) far right knob.


Powering down the system

1. Eject your DVD or VHS tape.

2. Turn the main power switch off. 

3. Lock the equipment rack

You will notice that the projector is still on and showing blue screen. In the right corner is a clock that will start a 5:00 minute countdown and the projector will power down.

4. Return the key and any remote used to the Media Center SV128
