Summer 2007 Registration: Undergraduate Students
(Saint Louis area campuses—for other campuses, please check with your site)
All returning students will be able to register online beginning at 8:00 a.m. (Central Standard Time) on Monday, March 5th. New transfer students and non-degree students can register beginning Wednesday, March 14.
IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS, YOU WILL NEED:
- Your Connections ID
- Your password (received by mail from the Registrar’s Office)
- Clearance from your advisor
- Absence of any holds (Business Office, Library, Admissions, Academic Advising, etc.)
THEREFORE, YOU NEED TO:
- Make sure you know you are able view your records online.
If you haven’t done this before, start at www.webster.edu, click on "Connections," “How do I get a username and password,” then “Create a new account.” By entering your student number or social security number, you will be given your Connections ID. A password will be sent you from the Registrar’s Office which will enable you to access “Registration & Services Online/E-services” in order to view your grades, register online, etc. This password is what you will need to set up your Connections account. During set up of your Connections account, you will be able to create your own password for Connections.
If you don’t have the password have received by mail from the Registrar, go to www.webster.edu, click on “Registration & Services Online,” scroll down and click on the “Reset password” button and a new one will be mailed to you within five business days. If you need to talk to someone about your password, call the Registrar's Office, (1-800-981-9803 then press 2. You'll get the Registrar's Office's phone tree—hang on and a real person will answer if you're calling during office hours.) If you have problems with Connections, call the Help Desk, 314-968-5995.
- Clear any holds that would interfere with registration (business office, 1-800-981-9803; admissions, 1-800-753-6765; academic advising, 1-800-982-3847).
- Call or email your advisor (http://www.webster.edu/directory.html) to let him/her know that you intend to register online and tell him/her what you want to register for. Your advisor can then check your audit and clear you to register. Advisors have many advisees, so please don’t wait until Sunday night to call or email them!
You will still, of course, be able to register in person. Call your department to schedule an appointment. You will need a registration form, signed by your advisor, to register in Academic Advising. The Academic Advising Center opens at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 5th.
