Internship Information
Under the direction of the internship coordinator, students enrolled in this practicum will spend about 16 hours a week in direct contact with a local non-profit organization whose services target the needs of women and children. Additionally, the coordinator and the interns will meet on a weekly basis to review the internship week and discuss various topics from the course texts. The goals of the course are the development of skills that effectively support the objectives of non-profit agencies and the enhancement of the students’ leadership abilities.
