Information for Students on Academic Probation

Webster University students that are placed on academic probation are expected to meet with an Academic Counselor regularly during their probationary semester. During the meetings students will:

  • Discuss what it means to be on academic probation
  • Develop an Academic Success Plan to get off academic probation and back on the path to academic success
  • Talk about the obstacles that lead to academic probation as well as ways to overcome potential obstacles in the future
  • Discuss specific study strategies that are right for each student, and will help regain good academic standing
  • Create short term goals
  • Learn about campus resources

Students will work together with an Academic Counselor to develop their Academic Success Plan, review their academic record, and develop academic goals throughout the semester.
