Assistive Technology is software or other equipment that helps users with different abilities to succeed in the classroom or workplace. It allows users who may have had difficulty reading, writing, speaking, remembering, or communicating to receive information and produce ideas effectively.
The Academic Resource Center provides assistive technology consultations on a variety of technologies to assist students with access to classroom materials. Additionally, the ARC can provide students with training and access to assistive technologies available on-campus.
