Who Pays Rental Fees?

There are two main categories of event-related fees charged by Webster University: facilities fees and equipment/services fees. The fees you will be assessed vary based on your affiliation with the University - whether you represent a University department or extended campus (internal affiliation), or are a guest to the University (external affiliation).   • University Departments and Extended Campuses - building rental charges are waived for all University departments and extended campus representatives for all business-related events. Any other equipment-related charges should be discussed in advance with the reservation contact person or the Business Office.
  • Neighbors - building rental charges may be reduced or waived for institutional neighbors surrounding the Webster Groves campus (Eden Seminary, Emmanuel Church, Nerinx High School, Webster Groves High School) and Webster University employees. Any other related charges are paid by the group or individual. Note: Rental charges are not waived for students or alumni.
  • External Groups - building rental charges and all other related costs are paid in full by groups or individuals with no Webster University affiliation.

Conference Room $40 / hour
Commons $60 / hour,
$75 flat fee when rented with Sunnen Lounge
Sunnen Lounge $80 / hour
Quad (outdoors) $40 / hour or
$300 / day
$75 flat cleaning fee added to large-scale events that go beyond 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays

Note: For events extending past regular building hours, additional hourly costs will be incurred.
