Academic Advising

How can I speak with an academic advisor located in the St. Louis Advising Center?

Students are encouraged to contact an advisor throughout their program if they have any questions regarding their degree plan. If you would like to speak to an academic advisor within the Advising Center, you must make an appointment. To schedule an appointment, please contact the Advising Center at (800) 982-3847, (314) 968-6972 or advising@webster.edu.

When scheduling an appointment, you will be better served by contacting our Academic Advising Center staff rather than contacting an advisor directly.

Graduate Student Advising

Graduate students can find additional information regarding advising here.

Undergraduate Student Advising

All undergraduate students are assigned an official academic advisor after their initial registration appointment. Your assigned advisor will be either a full-time faculty member or professional staff advisor within your academic major. Undeclared students are advised by professional staff advisors within the Academic Advising Center.

After students have been assigned to an official advisor, they will receive a letter and/or email informing them of their advisor and her/his contact information.

If you are not sure who your assigned faculty or staff advisor is, log into your Connections account and review your Degree Audit. Your advisor's name will appear in top left corner. To find contact information for your advisor, search the Faculty/Staff Directory.
