    Withdrawal Policy

Students may withdraw from a course from the third through the sixth week of class, subject to refunds as stated in the Undergraduate and Graduate Studies catalogs.  The student will receive a "W" on their official record but it will not affect their overall GPA.  Withdrawals may be processed over the phone through the Academic Advising Center.

You may notify your instructor of you intention to withdraw, but it is your responsibility to contact the Academic Advising Center for processing.  Instructors do not have the capability to process this request.  Familiarize yourself with the deadline dates as listed in the Academic Calendar on the Online Programs website.

As a rule, international student on F-1 and J-1 visas are not permitted to withdraw if such withdrawal reduces enrollment below full-time status.  Please see your academic advisor beofre considering a withdrawal.
