Proudly presents the Second Annual Student Summit! 

Last year was a total success, with over 300 participants and this year, with your help, we expect many more! 

 

Friday, April 4th - Sunday, April 6th

 

Featuring top names in the audio industry such as Bob Heil & Bob Katz,

panel discussions and tutorials with the best in the business, exhibitors showing off cutting edge audio equipment, free music, free food, a recording competition with great prizes, and even a Platinum Panel.

 

  • Panels and tutorials on such topics as Internships and Entry Level Positions, the Future of Analog, Aesthetics, Studio Ownership, Did the Internet Kill the CD Star, Women in Audio, Sound Reinforcement, Signal Processing and Restoring Vintage Gear, to name a few.

 

  • A Recording Competition with great prizes!

 

  • Lodgings as cheap as $10 per night while they last!

 

  • Award-winning band Illphonics will be playing on Saturday night!

 

  • All included in your $20 pre-registration fee. We’ll even throw in lunch on Saturday and both breakfasts!

 

This will be a great opportunity for students from the Central Region, some of whom cannot attend the conventions in New York or California, to mingle with their peers from other educational institutions as well as professionals.
