The Fifth Annual Central Region Audio Student Summit was the best ever! What they're saying about the In the past, great speakers have included Phil Ramone, Bob Katz, Elliot Scheiner, George Massenburg and Frank Filipetti! The First Annual Central Region AES Student Summit took place at Webster University in St. Louis on Friday, March 2nd through Sunday, 4th, 2007. This was the first event of its kind under the auspices of AES. It was a great opportunity for our students and others from the Central Region, some of whom cannot attend the conventions in New York, California or Europe, to mingle with their peers from other educational institutions as well as professionals. The Second Annual took place two years ago and was bigger and better than the first, a raging success. Building on a combination of our past successes and participant input, the Third Summit broke all records, with nearly 400 students and 100 professionals and educators in attendance, including keynote speaker Phil Ramone, Frank Filipetti, Jim Anderson and more!!! The Fourth Summit featured George Massenburg and so much more, along with almost 500 students! |
