Base Pass Guidelines
NOTE: It is important that any students requiring a pass for base access call in a timely manner to process their pass & background check (at least 4 weeks prior to when the pass is needed). There is a high probability that due to KAFB guidelines last minute sponsorship will not be approved.
Please call the Kirtland Webster office (255-3645) with your driver's license on hand. The base staff will obtain the information needed to request a base pass for you. We will also email you a background check form to be returned to us ASAP as the Law Enforcement Office will be doing background checks for each application.
Once your pass is ready, you will be contacted by the Webster office informing you to obtain your base pass. You will need to go to the Truman Gate Visitor's Center to obtain your pass. Go to the contractor's side. Truman is open 7 am–3 pm, Monday–Friday.
Bring with you your driver's license, car registration and insurance. You will be issued a DBIDs card which is good for a year, however NOTE: if you drop or withdraw from class your pass will be terminated and you will be required to restart the base pass process upon re enrollment.
If for any reason you terminate your enrollment or lose your base pass, you MUST contact Lori Berman or Ricki Tafoya at 255-3645.
Be prepared for the first night of class.
Failure to obtain your pass by the first night of class will result in an absence.
