Dr. Green received an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and Communications from Beloit College.
He served an environmental educator for 6 months in the Monadnock Mountains in New Hampshire and worked for the National Park Service in Boston. He also served as camp director for 13 years in a middle school setting. Dr. Green has a certificate in horticulture as a Master Gardener through the Missouri Botanical Garden and won a National Youth Gardening Grant for historical gardens. He has been an Operation Brightside volunteer for 20 plus years and is a presenter for environmental education workshops in a variety of public/private schools. He created and implemented the master plan for Francis Park. He is interested in educating youth and college age students on how to improve and preserve our environment.
