Patti Kelley


KelleyPatti Kelly has served as the Vice President of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer for SSM St. Mary's Health Center located in Richmond Heights, Missouri since 2008. She has progressively been promoted into more challenging leadership roles throughout her career culminating in her current role at SSM SMHC. Ms. Kelley was a presenter at the 2011 AONE Annual Conference in Boston and the September 2013 Best Practices in Patient-Centered Care Conference at the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality in Maryland. She has also been recognized by St. Louis Magazine as the recipient of the 2012 Excellence in Nursing Award in the Management/Nurse Executive/Clinical Leader category where she received a perfect score from the judges related to her work at SMHC during the year the hospital was without a president. Most recently, she was one of only 42 semi-finalists across the country for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Executive Nurse Fellowship (ENF) 2012.

Ms. Kelley is also active in the community and has been involved with the YWCA's Circle of Women Luncheon for the past four years and is a past examiner for the Excellence in Missouri Foundation. In 2011 she was appointed by the County Executive to the Board of the St. Louis County Children's Service Fund which administers and expends the funds generated by a tax that provides just under $40 million annually to local agencies providing mental health services to children in the county. Ms. Kelley received her ADN from St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley in 1986 and went on to earn her BSN and MSN through Webster University in St. Louis.
