Thomas F. Schlafly
Thomas F. Schlafly is the president and majority owner of The Saint Louis Brewery,
Inc., which brews Schlafly Beer and operates The Schlafly Tap Room in Downtown St.
Louis and Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood. He is also a lawyer with the firm Thompson
Coburn LLP. He serves on
the Legg Mason Partners Equity Board, which oversees 48 mutual funds and on the board
of directors of Citizens National Bank of Greater St. Louis. Mr. Schlfly currently
serves on the board of directors of the St. Louis Public Library and is the chair
of the St. Louis Public Library Foundation. He is a trustee of the St. Louis Art Museum
and a member of the board of directors of the St. Louis Public Schools Foundation.
Mr. Schlafly received his A.B. from Georgetown University in 1970 and his J.D. from
Georgetown University Law Center in 1977. He and his wife, Ulrike, live in the Central
West End.
