Dr. Huang is an Assistant Professor in the Professional Counseling Department at Webster University. She holds a Ph.D. in Education (with an emphasis in Counseling and Counselor Education) from University of Missouri – St. Louis (a CACREP accredited doctoral program). She obtained her master's degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. She received multiple awards of excellence in her academic and professional career. Dr. Huang has been a practicing clinician since 1999, with specialties in treating depression, trauma, and spiritual issues. She speaks regionally and nationally on topics related to integration of psychology and spirituality.

Dr. Huang enjoys eating (trying new food), cooking, walking, gardening, drawing/painting, attending art fairs, reading psychotherapy cases, and watching movies/live performance.
