Welcome to Le Centre Francophone!
Le Centre Francophone was established in 2012 thanks to the generous support of the Jane and Bruce Robert Endowment. It is conveniently situated on the campus of Webster University in Webster Groves, Missouri. At the heart of the Saint Louis area, this community has one of the strongest French heritages in the United States.
On this website, you will find information about the many programs and cultural events supporting Francophone culture in St. Louis. These events are held both on the Webster University campus and in the greater Saint Louis area. You can read our mission statement and goals, learn more about the exceptional opportunities offered to Webster University's students of French, check our upcoming and past events, meet Dr. Lionel Cuillé, the inaugural Jane and Bruce Robert Professor of French and Francophone Studies, learn more about our literary journal Littéralité, and have access to a list of our local and global partners.
