Bio

Mary Ann Drake, PhD, RN, CNE is a Professor in the Department of Nursing. She has spent most of her career working in public health nursing with vulnerable groups (ie migrant farmworkers, maternal child populations, homeless, and recent migrant arrivals). In the last year Mary Ann has taken several trips to South Texas with other faculty and students working with groups along the US/Mexico border. Mary Ann is an active member of the Association of Community Health Nurse Educators (ACHNE) serving in several leadership roles.
