BIOGRAPHY

Robin Jefferson Higgins is an Assistant Professor, Chair, Director, and Associate Professor for the Legal Studies Department at Webster University.  She earned her B.A.  in Economics, B.A. in Spanish, and M.A. in Spanish from the University of Missouri-Columbia, as well as a Juris-doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law.  Prior to her position with Webster University, she was a federal law clerk for the honorable Charles A. Shaw, United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri.  After her clerkship, she joined the law firm of Lashly & Bear, P.C. where she practiced School Law, Administrative Law, Worker’s Compensation, and Employment Law.  She currently teaches a variety of courses for Webster University, such as Methods of Legal Research and Writing, Civil Litigation, Introduction to Legal Studies, American Constitutional Law, Anglo-American Legal History, School Law, and Legal Ethics.
