Dr. Kristin Page is the Florida State Counseling Director. She earned her PhD from the University of Florida in Counselor Education (a CACREP program) and master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Page's undergraduate degree is from the University of Florida.
Dr. Page's areas of previous research and publication include adolescents, assessments, disaster mental health, and high risk recidivists. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. Dr. Page has worked in community and private mental health, in addition to serving as the clinical director for a residential facility. In practice, her specialties included addictions, severe mental health, adolescents, assessments, and anxiety.
In addition to teaching, supervision and research, Dr. Page is also involved in the American Counseling Association and a member of the Association for Counselor Educators and Supervisors (ACES) and the Association for Specialists in Group Work (ASGW). She has previously served on the board for the Florida Counseling Association and is a trained crisis responder.
Dr. Page enjoys traveling, history, the arts, and visiting new cultures around the world. Furthermore, she is an avid runner and attends most Gator football games.
