PhDr Zuzana Poláčková, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor of International Relations in the Online Program at Webster University. She also works as senior research fellow and project coordinator at the Institute of Political Science at the Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Slovakia. She teaches and gives lectures at Charles University, Prague, at Lisbon University, Portugal, and at Leiden University, Holland. She received her PhD in 1998 from the Comenius University in Bratislava and has published four monographs and more than one hundred articles. She is regularly invited to attend international scientific conferences in Europe and has enjoyed teaching and designing courses on Central European Area Studies, colonialism, and genocide.
