Master of Arts in Counseling
The Professional Counseling degree program is designed for preparing individuals for
a career in professional counseling; emphases in marriage and family therapy and school
counseling are available at some campuses. The Webster Professional Counseling degree
program provides a unique program consisting of counselor education and supervision
scholars with counseling practitioners from the field. The program curriculum and
student experience are integrated to provide students with counseling theory and interpersonal
and counseling skills necessary for providing professional counseling to individuals,
couples, children, families, and groups in a variety of mental health settings and
best prepares graduates for a successful career in professional counseling.
The Professional Counseling degree program is currently offered at 26 campuses in
the United States and at the Webster Geneva campus.
