Master of Science in Online Environmental Management
The online Master of Science in Environmental Management program will provide students
with tools and techniques that will help them navigate the business aspects of environmental
management. The only prerequisite is a bachelor’s degree.
The goal of this program is to prepare current and aspiring environmental managers
with the business and administrative skills necessary to work at all levels in this
vital field: to make sound business, ethical, and legal decisions, and to interpret
and communicate environmental rules and regulations.
Upon completion of the program, students should be able to:
- Understand the important terminology, facts, concepts, principles, and theories used in the environmental management field
- Manage environmental-related risk
- Conduct an environmental audit
- Hire technically skilled employees and consultants
- Research and analyze environmental regulations
- Make sound management decisions based on environmental and scientific data
- Conduct environmental research
