Combined Degree: BS in Accounting and MS in Forensic Accounting | Webster University

Combined Degree: BS in Accounting and MS in Forensic Accounting

Webster’s BS in Accounting/MS in Forensic Accounting combined degree allows students to complete both degrees in a shorter period of time, saving students both time and money.

How it works

Students are required to complete 158 credit hours, less than the required number of credit hours for both individual degrees combined.

Job Outlook

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, candidates who have completed their master’s degree in either accounting or in business administration with a focus in accounting are at an advantage (BLS, 2018).

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has projected employment for graduates in various fields of finance to grow 11% from 2016-2026, faster than the average for all occupations. A growing range of financial products and the need for in-depth knowledge of geographic regions are expected to lead to strong employment growth (BLS, April, 2018).
