Walker School Welcomes New Director of Communications

Gina Tarte has been named the director of communications for the Walker School of Business and Technology. She comes to Webster from the Rockwood School District where she served as the senior internal communications specialist and the marketing and media information specialist. Prior to this, she gained experience in client services while working on marketing and advertising campaigns for McDonald's, Jaguar Land Rover and Rawlings Sporting Goods.

"Gina's background in strategic communications will be an asset as we address challenges and leverage opportunities in business," says Dr. Benjamin Akande, dean of the Walker School.

Tarte holds a master's degree in Marketing and Advertising Communications from Webster University and a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
