Christoph von Marschall is the Washington Correspondent for Der Tagesspiegel based in Berlin. He has been with the Tagesspiegel in various capacities since 1991 and also has worked at the Süddeutsche Zeitung and Die Zeit. He earned his earned his PhD from the University of Freiburg and received a Kellen Fellowship from the American Council on Germany in 1998.

Lappin’s meditative walks through the Webster Groves community provide the inspiration for her magery of natural sights in a defocused and yet reflective manner. She is a Webster University alumna. Meditative walks also inspire Kevin Vogler’s photography, but he is intrigued by the natural found objects encountered along the way. Lappin and Vogler, who are wife and husband, have worked in photography for many years.

New Conductor Paul Davis
A "Uniquely American" concert will feature Aaron Copland’s "Dance Scenes from Rodeo,” and George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.” Performing the Gershwin will be Webster music professor Daniel Schene.
Dr. Davis comes to the podium with an extensive professional background spanning classical and jazz idioms in conducting, performance and teaching. He has performed throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe, including a highly acclaimed concert with the Grand Orchestre d’Harmonie des Guides of Brussels, Belgium.

Performance by a troupe from the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, the premier school in China for training professional Beijing Opera performers.

Moore Auditorium is on the first floor of Webster Hall, 470 East Lockwood, directly across the street from Eden Seminary. Enter the center door, facing East Lockwood, and proceed straight ahead to the auditorium. Directions to Webster Hall: From I-44: Take Elm Ave. exit north to Lockwood Ave.; turn right (east) on Lockwood and proceed one mile to campus. Webster Hall is on the right side, directly across from Eden-Webster Seminary. From Highway 40: Take Hanley Road south to Big Bend Blvd.; turn right (west) on Big Bend; bear right at the Big Bend/Lockwood fork; proceed 1.5 blocks to campus. Webster Hall will be on the left. From I-270, I-70, or I-55: Take interstate to I-44 or Highway 40 and follow above directions.
