Money for Textbooks

Money for Textbooks

The Money for Textbooks program allows Webster University students to receive up to $600 per semester in advance of their financial aid, which can be used to purchase textbooks and supplies during the program. To be eligible, you must be enrolled at the Webster Groves, Gateway, Westport, and/or Wing Haven Campus, or in an online course, and be anticipating financial aid in excess of your tuition and fees.

To apply, you must complete the online application form each enrollment period within that periods application dates. You will receive a detailed email notification by the end of the next business day. The application for the program cannot be done in person or over the phone.

You must reapply for Money for Textbooks each term. If you are enrolled in term classes (8 or 9 weeks only and not semester-long classes), you will usually get only one financial aid disbursement and refund for the entire semester. If you received a refund during Term 1, you are expected to use those funds to purchase your books for the second term, as you will not qualify for the Money For Textbooks Program since your entire Financial Aid award has already been disbursed.
