Student Employment Program

The Student Employment Program is designed to help students meet educational expenses through meaningful employment. The Career Planning & Development Center assists students in finding part-time student employment positions. Student employment at Webster is divided into two different programs:
Federal Work-Study (abbreviated CWSP on the Financial Aid Award Letter) recipients may work either on campus or in an approved Community Service Work-Study site. Community Service Work-Study sites are created by the Student Employment Coordinator. Students must be enrolled full-time at the University to retain their award over the course of the academic year.

Budget Student Employment
Budget Student Employment (abbreviated BSWS by the Career Planning & Development Center) is available to current students, regardless of financial need. The hiring department funds the position directly, so appeals for an increase in award amount must be made to the hiring supervisor and not the Financial Aid Office.
