Casual Clerk

Description:
A casual works on an as-needed, on-call basis with no set schedule nor a guarantee of hours. The best qualified candidate is one with great flexibility in this entry level position; the ability to work days, nights, weekends and/or holidays as needed. A casual covers a full-time worker’s shift due to daily absences and may also be used to assist with supplemental duties when business levels are high. Casuals perform administrative tasks in an office setting and may be asked occasionally to perform audit-type administrative work outside on the dock.

Responsibilities:
Prepares documents for processing into scanning equipment. Connecting lines/scans, indexes, edits and searches documents utilizing document imaging software OS&D, claims assistance, cashiering and customer service duties as required. Provide excellent customer satisfaction / both external and internal. Schedule customer delivery appointments. Other duties as assigned. Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.

Qualifications:
High school diploma required.
Knowledge of personal computer preferred

Part-Time Maintenance Worker
Grandview Community Center

Description:
This Part-Time Building Maintenance Worker position works three to four days a Week including weekends assisting full time staff and is responsible for the daily housekeeping/custodial services at the “View” Grandview’s Community Center. Most shifts are evenings and weekends as late as 1:30 am on weekends.

Duties:
Includes setting up and removing tables and chairs, emptying trash containers; bathroom and locker room sanitation and clean-up, plus facility vacuuming, mopping, window washing, dusting, and sweeping, and policing parking lot, etc.

Requirements:
Minimum age of 18 and one year of custodial experience; driver’s license and the ability to follow written and oral instructions; a working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures; and a strong knowledge of janitorial equipment and building maintenance practices. Must be able to work positively with a variety of people.

Pay/Benefits:
$11.12/hour plus part-time benefits.

Work Hours:
15 to 20 hours a week including weekends, 5 p.m. to 12 p.m. and as late as 1:30 a.m. on weekends.
