This full orchestra is the most advanced of the School’s ensembles. The orchestral literature is in its original form and is more challenging than the Young People’s Concert Orchestra’s repertoire.

This orchestra, established more than 25 years ago, focuses attention on the refinement of ensemble skills, intonation, sight-reading, and orchestral discipline, while increasing performance standards.

Past repertoire: Four Dance Episodes from Rodeo, Copland; Symphony No. 2 “Little Russian,” Tchaikovsky
