Caps and Gowns

If you are located in the St. Louis area and participating in the St. Louis Commencement

St. Louis area graduates may purchase their caps and gowns at the University Bookstore, 554 Garden Avenue, Webster Groves, Missouri during the Grad Salute Days. Join in the celebration! Grad Salute Days
Wednesday, March 27: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday, March 28: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

If you cannot attend the Grad Salute, caps and gowns will be available during regular business hours at the University Bookstore until May 10, however sizes and availability may be limited.

Bookstore Business Hours
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. –  p.m.

If you are participating in an extended campus graduation ceremony

Special Dress Notes

Due to the steep grade of the procession route through The Muny, we recommend that flat or low heeled shoes be worn.

Active Duty Military Dress Uniform
By protocol, graduates who are active duty members of the United States military may wear their full dress uniform in lieu of traditional academic regalia at the Webster University Commencement.
