How do I know if my name is on the list for graduation?

If you are completing your degree in May and intend to participate in the May Commencement ceremony, you must submit your Petition to Graduate by February 13th to ensure your name is listed in the Commencement program booklet.

Will I get a confirmation after submitting my petition that I will graduate?

Immediately after submitting your petition, you will get an e-mail confirming that your petition was received. There is no formal communication sent that confirms your graduation. As long as your academic program is complete and you have no outstanding accounts in the business office, you will receive your diploma 10-12 weeks from the May graduation date. If you have any doubts, we suggest you check with your advisor as to whether you have met all the academic requirements and the Business Office to reconcile your accounts.
