Webster Grad Featured at Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission Ceremony

Recent Webster Groves graduate Aziz Al Wosifer (MA Advertising and Marketing Communications) was selected to deliver the graduation speech at the annual Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission ceremony this summer near Washington, D.C. Video of his speech (in Arabic) is viewable here.

"Aziz is an outstanding ambassador for Webster, and his achievements put Webster on the map with SACM," says Bethany Keller, assistant director in Multicultural Center and International Student Affairs.

It is a special honor for to be selected to give one of two student speeches at the three-day event, which was attended by 1,000 students graduating in the U.S. this year, part of Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Azizs program of Foreign Scholarships in America.

Webster had over 72 (and counting) accepted graduate students from Saudi Arabia for Fall 1 2011. The number of current students is larger than any other single cultural group of international students on campus.
