Professional Experience

Karl "Pete" Timmermann has been teaching courses in film studies at Webster University for more than 12 years. He has been teaching film, media and communications courses at St. Louis Community Colleges for more than 14 years. In addition, he was a full member of the St. Louis Film Critics Association from 2005 to 2016 and a member of the board from 2014 to 2016.

Timmermann was a contributing writer and film editor for Playback St. Louis for many years. He has written feature and cover stories and published over 500 film reviews.
