Susan Seymour has more than 15 years of experience in marketing communications, working at SBC, Southwestern Bell Telephone, Anheuser-Busch, ITT Financial Services, ICF Industries and BHN Advertising.
She as served as: manager, corporate advertising; manager, direct communications; manager, corporate identity; marketing services manager; sales promotion coordinator; advertising and public relations manager; writer; traffic/production coordinator; and ad salesperson.
Susan Seymour taught at Webster University for 23 years before her retirement in May 2015. In addition to her teaching, she held administrative positions as the advertising and marketing communications program coordinator, graduate studies director in the School of Communications, and as interim director of the London campus. Most recently, she served as the interim academic director for Webster University's campuses in Thailand.
Seymour's list of interests and hobbies include following the national and international advertising awards, the Clios, Lions, and Addys, as well as vintage and retro ads; solving Sudoku puzzles; spending time at the beach; reading mystery novels; and watching "Homeland," "Downton Abbey," and, of course,"Mad Men."
