Teaching Philosophy

"Gaining knowledge is a wonderful and worthy endeavor, but being able to apply knowledge through critical thinking, reflection, and active learning in an ever-changing technological workplace is another thing entirely. Learning must evolve to ensure that students are learning the right material from the the right teachers, through the right learning styles. Education has long been heralded as the "great equalizer," but the the professional, economic, and social benefits mean little without the profound personal benefits that education can elicit. [Teaching] feels natural to me and I readily see a natural intersection between teaching and experience."
