Leadership

Leadership in the School of Communications starts in the Office of the Dean. Eric Rothenbuhler has a clear vision of the future of media communication and direction for the School of Communications. It helps inform his development of strategic goals and initiatives.

Dean Rothenbuhler is directly supported by the executive council, members of the faculty and staff, and by the advisory board.

The executive council, comprised of the associate dean, department chairs and executive staff, meet regularly with Dean Rothenbuhler to evaluate progress on goals and to discuss new ideas and key issues that may affect the School, the students, the faculty, and the staff.

Members of the faculty and staff contribute to the success of the School by proposing projects and tactics to carry out the strategic goals and initiatives set forth by the dean.

The advisory board is comprised of media professionals and executives who support the efforts of the School and who provide insight and industry expertise.
