Professional Experience

Prior to coming to Webster University, Merideth worked in media communications and hospitality management.  Her media communications experience includes direct mail marketing with Alaniz & Sons Inc. and market research with Market Directions/V. R. Communications. Merideth has been at Webster University since 2001. She started as a department associate and was was promoted to the position of representative in 2011. In the School of Communications (SOC), she administers the day-to-day operations of the graduate studies program, including its online degrees. She provides support for the dean, the director, faculty and students. She works on special projects including the ongoing conversion and management of the School's website. She also writes features for publication on the School of Communications RSS feed.

She is a member of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Community Service Public Relations Council (CSPRC), and Delta Mu Delta (DMD) Honor Society.

Merideth was Staff Member of the Month in August 2009. She was the Webster Staff Alliance special events chair from June 2009 through May 2011. A highlight of her tenure as special events chair was the booking of former Navy SEAL, Rhodes Scholar, and CEO of the Mission Continues, Eric Greitens, as the keynote speaker for the university-wide Staff Professional Development Day luncheon in spring 2010.
