PR Expert Peter Shankman to Visit Webster University
Renowned speaker, author, entrepreneur to speak and answer questions
The George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology and the School of Communications at Webster University team up to bring renowned PR expert, author, speaker and entrepreneur Peter Shankman to campus on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. He is the founder of Help a Reporter Out (HARO) and will present “Everybody Is an Expert at Something.”

HARO is a free social media networking repository for reporters and advertisers. The service helps connect journalists to subject matter experts and helps businesses promote their brands.
Shankman also founded The Geek Factory, Inc., formerly a PR firm. Its facilities now house HARO, located in New York City.
He is the author of the books “Can We Do That?! Outrageous PR Stunts That Work and Why Your Company Needs Them” and “Customer Service: New Rules for a Social-Enabled World.”
