Build a game

Monday, June 8 - Friday, June 12, 2020

 Game Design Camp.

Do you love video games? Want to learn what it takes to be a video game designer? Our experienced team of game developers offers high school-aged students an introduction to the exciting world of game design and development.

In just a few days, you learn how games are designed and then plan and build your own game! Work in a small team to experience the benefits of creative collaboration. At the end of the week, you'll have a game to take home to show off to your friends and family. Spend a week this summer and become a game developer.

Students will have the opportunity to use RPGMaker or GameMaker in teams to create games.

Dates & Times

The camp is one week long, running from Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12, 2020. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day on the Webster Groves Campus of Webster University, St. Louis, Mo., 63119.

The camp is open to high school-aged students (ages 14-18) with any level of prior experience including no experience.

Preference will be given to individuals who register and pay in full by Friday, May 12, 2020.
