Groves Exhibits and Speaks While at Ghana Campus

ST. LOUIS (September 21, 2017) – Thomas Groves is exhibiting selections from his photographic works at Pecha Kucha Accra, an event in which several other artists and photographers will display their work. It will be held at the Goeth-Institut in Accra, Ghana on Fri., September 22. The Goethe Institut, Webster University Ghana Campus and Dare to Dream are major sponsors of the event.

Thomas Groves flyerGroves is a School of Communications visiting professor from the Webster University Thailand campus. He is teaching at Webster University Ghana in Accra this fall.

In addition to the photography exhibition, Groves spoke at a Campus Thought Leadership seminar at the Ghana campus  on Friday, September 15. The theme of the seminar was "Evolution of WhatsApp as a Business Tool." Other speakers at the event included Francis Kofigah, CEO of Dough Man Foods, and Kojo Nyame Biney, co-head of online digital marketing at Ringier Ghana.

Groves is a Canadian national, who teaches photography, digital production, advertising and communications theory. He has taught at the Webster Thailand campus since 2009. In addition to his academic work, he runs Phamai Photography Studio with his wife in Hua Hin, Thailand. Thomas Groves is an avid photographer who enjoys traveling around the world documenting the beautiful and unique.
