Megan Favignano is the Great Plains College Editor-in-Chief of the Year. The Journal was named College Newspaper and Website of the Year. Dan Bauman was a finalist for College Writer of the Year. Best of the Great Plains includes

Students in the ADVT 4190 Advertising Campaigns class placed second at the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) regionals in Kansas City, Mo., on April 11.

Several School of Communications students entered work in the St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase.
Students from Webster University's department of audio aesthetics and technology produced a tribute concert in honor of the 45th anniversary of the last live concert by the Beatles, known as the "Rooftop Concert." They received TV and print coverage of the event.
