COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL 

Individual Lessons (non-Suzuki)

Pre-registration:  Students wanting to get a head start on registration may fill out a general interest form so staff members are prepared to serve you during registration week.  We encourage you to read more about our programs and instructors.  This is not for the St. Louis Public School Partnership Program.  Applications for this program are through participating schools.

Recommended Process: 

Our walk-in registration sessions allow staff members to consider a student’s background, personality, personal motivation and goals, as well as specific needs or requirements, to place the student with the most appropriate instructor.  While student attendance at registration is optional, students are encouraged to attend with a parent and see the facilities. (Auditions are not required.) Students may register after the walk-in registration dates; however, remaining lesson times may not be as convenient for your family’s schedule.   

Fall Registration:  August 11-17, 2012

Fall Semester:  August 20, 2012 - January 15, 2013

Spring Registration:  January 7-12, 2013

Spring Semester:  January 22 - May 31, 2013 (last day for Mon. & Sat. lessons will be June 8 & 10)

Summer Registration:  June 1-6, 2013

Summer Session:  June 13-July 25, 2013

Kindermusik & Young Years Music Classes

Children ages birth-7 years may enroll for Kindermusik & Young Years music classes for the fall and spring semesters by submitting the registration form. For more information and to download a registration form click here.

Suzuki Strings

Those seeking Suzuki instruction must contact the School to add their names to the orientation list. Invitations to attend the parent orientation are mailed prior to Fall and Spring semesters. The required three-week parent orientation, for which a fee is charged, is held once or twice per academic year. Following completion of the parent orientation, children are scheduled to begin lessons. To receive an orientation invitation, call (314) 968-5939 or email cms@webster.edu.
