COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL
Under the direction of St. Louis University High School’s Jeff Pottinger and Webster University’s James A. Martin, you will participate in ensembles, master classes, and special events while learning important practice and audition preparation techniques. Work with specialists on your instrument, try the latest in computer and multimedia technology to improve your playing, and interact with professional musicians from the St. Louis area. Two band levels may be offered, pending enrollment.
Grades: Students entering grades 7 - 12 in Fall 2015
Dates: June 22 - 26, 2015 from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Performance: Friday, June 26 at 1 p.m.
Tuition: $220 (includes t-shirt)
Requirements: one year participation in a school band program or at least one year of private instruction.
Auditions Dates: (to determine placement) Saturday, May 30, Monday, June 1, and Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
