COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL
Individual Music Lessons
30, 45, 60 minute individual music lessons are available for all ages and levels of
abilities at one of our convenient locations. The goals and needs of students are
considered individually when placed with instructors.
Kindermusik and Young Years Music Classes
Our Kindermusik and Young Years Music Program is an early childhood music, movement and early keyboard program based on the beliefs that every child is musical, every parent is the child's most important teacher, and the home is the most important place from which learning can take root and grow.
Suzuki Strings
Through Suzuki strings method young children learn to play the violin and cello the same way they learn to speak — by listening, imitating and repeating sounds.
Orchestras and Ensembles
Orchestras and ensembles are intended to enhance students' skills beyond individual performance, support school music programs, and provide a high quality ensemble experience.
Preparatory Program
The Preparatory Program is a very advanced program centered on chamber music designed to augment the music study of exceptionally talented string, woodwind, brass, and piano students who anticipate pursuing a career in music.
Summer Opportunities
We offer a variety of summer music camps. With Family Camp, Flute Camp, Low Brass Week, String Orchestra and Band Camps to the Chamber Music Encounter and Composition Intensive, there's something for everyone!
Young Composers Competition
The Young Composers Competition recognizes and encourages students ages 12-21 involved in writing their own music.
