Angelica's workshop is “…related to my approach to electronic music composition focusing on my use of found sounds and unusual instruments.”

1:30 - 2:30 pm   Making a Botch of It: Inspiration, Imitation, and the Creative Process with Webster University's Kim  Portnoy

3:00 pm    Young Composers Concert featuring Guest Composer Angélica Negrón and the work of winning composers performed by Chamber Project St. Louis.

    • 1st Place: Noah Tan, 16, from Stevensville, MI - for Swallows of Amritsar
    • 2nd Place:Madeline Cheng, 15, from Los Altos, CA - for Where Before Was Gray
    • 1st Place:Jane Meenaghan, 18, from Los Angeles, CA – Columbia-Juilliard Program for needles to the ground
    • 2nd Place: Sami Seif, 21, from Cleveland, OH – Cleveland Institute of Music for La'ib an-nard (The Dice Player)
