The Webster University Commuter Council is an advocate for concerns specific to commuter students, the majority of our student population. Encouraging campus unity through partnerships with departments, student organizations, and on-campus residents, the Commuter Council strives to create the best possible college experience for Webster University students.
The Commuter Council is made up of students, faculty and staff. The President and Vice President positions are elected each spring, while other positions are appointed representatives from a variety of constituencies throughout campus.
Commuter Council hosts events throughout the year and maintains the information in the Commuter Lounge. We hold monthly workshops on a variety of commuter-related topics. Please visit Involved@Webster for details about our meetings and events.
Follow us on Twitter and Friend us on Facebook to keep up-to-date on campus events, parking lot closures and interesting things around campus.
Some of our regular events are:
- Commuter Workshop Series (monthly) – present a series of workshops on helpful topics from car maintenance and gas prices to safety on campus and being involved on Campus.
- Commuter Appreciation Days (each semester) – come see how much we appreciate you being a commuter. A fun-filled day complete with prizes, games and of course, food.
