COVID-19 Task Force

Coordinating Preparation and Response

As the global understanding of COVID-19 evolves, Webster University is coordinating operational preparation and response throughout its campus network.

As a global institution, Webster has existing policies and protocols in place for monitoring developments, making decisions as needed, and communicating to impacted constituents and to our community. The health and safety of the Webster University community worldwide is of primary importance.

The initial impact on Webster included canceling or postponing some travel plans and study abroad activities. Webster continues to refine its response according to the latest guidance and updates from the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Additional measures include planning for online offerings and the establishment of the COVID-19 Task Force (see list below), tasked with coordinating the university’s preparedness and operational continuity and effectiveness. Leadership will continue to proactively and aggressively manage the COVID-19 situation and promptly issue additional updates as conditions evolve.
