Steps towards Declaring German Major
- Successful completion of at least one course in advanced German grammar and one course in Germanliterature (with cumulative grade average in these courses of B or better)
- Successful completion of multiple choice language test at Intermediate level
- Petition for Admission to Department of International Languages and
Cultures
Checklist for German Majors
- 36 credit hours in German (24+ at 3000-level or above)
- 9 credit hours+ in German (GRMN 3090/3100, GRMN 3150/3250, and a GRMN
4650) completed at Webster University
- Semester abroad
- Portfolio review, completion of reading list, and demonstration of 'advanced low' oral proficiency in German
