Globalized Legal Studies Program
Summer 2010 - Leiden, The Netherlands

Tuition: Summer tuition rates are estimated and will not be finalized until mid-April 2010

Undergraduate……… estimated at $575 per credit hour
Graduate…………….......estimated at $670 per credit hour

Lab Fee: $100.00 per course
Tuition and the appropriate lab fee will be charged directly to each student’s Webster account

Study Abroad Fee - $250.00 (one-time charge): includes welcome reception each week, international health insurance, International Student Identity Card (ISIC), and Lonely Planet Guide Book to the Netherlands.

Housing Administrative Fee: $110.00 (one-time charge)

Housing: $440.00 per week (campus housing)
One week stay….........$440.00
Two week stay…........$880.00
Three week stay....$1,320.00
Four week stay…..$1,760.00

Additional Estimated Costs (student responsibility):
• Roundtrip airfare (estimated) $1,000 - $1,700
• U.S. Passport $100
• Daily meals $30- $40
• Personal expenses, souvenirs, and other miscellaneous costs
(per week) $150 +
• Local Transportation costs (including site visits) $50 - $75
• Brussels trip (Int’l Law & the Environment-Week 2 only) $250

Refunds and Withdrawals: If for any reason the student is not permitted to register for the class, the program fees will be returned in full. If the student has been registered for the class, but then must drop or be dropped for any reason, recoverable portions of the program fees may be refundable if the class is full and another student can be registered to fill the vacancy.

Academics and Contact Information: Students will be assigned online coursework to be accomplished before the start of on-site classes in Leiden (logon date for both undergraduate and graduate students: May 28th). Study in the Netherlands is mandatory.
