Kathryn Nelson KATHRYN NELSON (2002-2006)
Kathryn Nelson was a longtime program officer with the Danforth Foundation and is well known throughout St. Louis' educational community as an advocate for children and families. Until her death in 2006, she provided leadership and assistance in the growth of many regional organizations, including Parents as Teachers, Doorways, the Girl Scout Council, the St. Louis Public Library Board, and the St. Louis 2004 project.
